Exuma Pants

This past year, I have formed a love affair with a style of pants called Exumas (also known as palazzo pants).  I first saw them on Pinterest.  The link led me to a site called bocaleche.com and I found tons of different patterns and styles. They're incredibly lightweight, stretchy and super long.  They come in a 34" inseam and are designed to be cut to your desired length.  The best part is that they only cost $38.00 a piece!   At that price, I ordered six pair and have been living in them since.  I know, it's a little overboard, but once you own a pair, you'll know exactly why I love them so much.

Backless Dress

Naturally, we're (or at least I am) always looking at the front of an outfit and forgetting the importance of how equally fabulous the back side should be.  My husband is a constant reminder of this.  Whenever I come downstairs to ask him how I look, he insists that I turn around and walk away from him.  Maybe he's just trying to check out my ass, but I knew he especially liked this dress because I got a "WOW" out of him when I turned around.  The dress is fairly simple in the front, but the long sleeves and dramatic openness in the back makes it way more than just a little black dress.

Fringed Dress

I normally don't wear my dresses so short, but the long fringe at the bottom makes this mini possible without looking ridiculous.  We went dancing and I had so much fun shaking the tassels around!  The dress is from Forever21 and the shoes are from Target.  Both pieces together were under $50.00.  It's my last week on vacation in Ft. Lauderdale and it's been a lot of fun posting pictures of pieces that I can wear for spring and summer to come!

Color Blocked Scuba Dress

I'm back in beautiful Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and I absolutely love this color blocked dress.  I got it from Love Culture for under $30.00 and it's called a scuba dress because the material is similar to a wet suit.  Perfect for the hot (and occasionally windy) weather down here.  I forgot to pack heels, so instead I paired it with some t-strap flats.  Cute and comfortable for day or night!  On a side note, thank you to the valet boys at the W Hotel for taking my picture out front of the Bentley and Maserati parked outside.
