Personal Shopping Success

My friend and Client, Jen, called me last week to help her find a smoking hot outfit for her birthday cruise.  Luckily, Jen was pretty focused and was also very open to different ideas and suggestions.  We discussed areas that she wanted to show off and areas she wanted to hide.  As soon as she mentioned she didn't want anything too tight on her belly (by the way, she has toddler twin girls and looks AMAZING), I instantly thought: peplum and skinny jeans.   A peplum is a long ruffle on a top, dress or skirt and is a great way to hide a belly or love handles.  I suggested pairing the peplum top with dark skinny jeans, which is a nice balance to the flowy ruffle.  Jen took a couple dresses and the peplum ensemble into the dressing room.  She came out with the biggest smile and we both knew this (look pictured above) was it.  Jen bought a statement necklace and paired the look with some adorable black heels.  She got everything at Forever21 (except the shoes are hers) for right around $50.00.
I love Personal Shopping and it's just one of the many services I offer as a Fashion Consultant.  I also offer the service where (after a quick evaluation of size and style) I shop and purchase a few outfit options, accessories and bring them to you.  You select any, all or none of the options and whatever you don't want will be returned.  One of the services that I offer, I suggest to most clients, is Closet Organization.  Most people don't even realize how many pieces of clothing they haven't worn in yeeeeeeears!  Once you purge all the pieces you don't wear and evaluate what you need, shopping becomes much easier and even potentially fun.
Have an event and don't know what to wear?  Don't have time to go shopping?  Need some wardrobe updates?  Feeling overwhelmed by your overflowing closet?  Call me.  I love my job!
